Sun & Triangles

This was one of the first few self-portraits I took. I noticed the sun would shine through my window right before sunset so I set myself up in the spot where the sun would directly hit my face. I used a patterned bed sheet as my backdrop and hoped it wouldn't fall on me. I'm looking to the side and directly towards the sun to represent looking at what lies ahead. I felt like something was missing and spotted a basket with a bunch of triangles and held it up to create an effect on half of my face. It took awhile to get the right shot with the least amount of glare on my glasses but in the end my "backdrop" fell. I used photshop to remove the reflection of my window on my glasses.
